From Cruise Port: Sydney
The Hunter Valley is one of Australia's most celebrated wine producing regions. There are over 150 unique Hunter Valley wineries & much of the countryside is under vine, providing stunning vistas. Today is all about indulging in local wine, fresh produce and meeting some friendly Australian locals (animals!)
Only an hour north of Sydney is the Australian Reptile Park, home to many Australian animals and where the Australian laboratory is located producing antivenom for snake and spider bites! You'll have time to meet and get close to some of Australia's iconic wildlife before continuing onto the Hunter Valley, Australia's oldest wine production area.
We've selected three excellent cellar doors where you will be led through a private group tasting of several varietals of wine including the two varietals that the Hunter is famous for - Semillon and Shiraz. Buying a bottle to enjoy later is definitely high on our guest's priorities!
For lunch, depending on your tour choice of a one course or a two-course lunch - we have two different restaurants both located in beautiful surroundings. Your lunch is accompanied by a glass of wine or beer.
During the day you'll also taste local cheese and chocolate, take some time for photos before making our way back to Sydney.
